Q. What scholarships are available?

A. There are four scholarships available annually. This will be awarded to students and used for laptops, tutoring, test fees, college application fees and wireless services.

Q. What are the scholarships criteria?

A.There is different criteria for both scholarships. Please read carefully before applying.

•Must be entering sophomore, junior or senior year of high school

•Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a career or technical program (up to 2 years) at an accredited non-profit post-secondary, public or private institution in the United States

•Demonstrated critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required)

•Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity

•Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities

•Maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0, including while in the program

•Be a United States citizen

Q. How much funding per student?

A. Scholarships are based on need and as we are in our pilot program, the numbers will soon give us a better understanding of how much per student after this year.

Q. Is this a one time scholarship?

A. No, you may apply each year to keep your scholarship, as long as you continue to meet the criteria of your mentor and the scholarship. We want to see you succeed! Also, 10 lucky applicants will be provided college application fee waivers for up to 4 colleges and universities.

A. The application is currently closed. Check back August 2021 for more information.
